Fertility Assurance Checkup

Comprehensive Fertility Assurance Checkup

Pre-Pregnancy Health: A Complete Assessment Before or After Marriage

Want to get pregnant but don't know where to start? Or want to learn about your fertility in advance? Medee Dazhi Clinic has designed the "Comprehensive Fertility Assurance Checkup," personally evaluated by an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist. It combines ultrasound, hysteroscopy, hysterosalpingography, hormone blood tests, and more to help you fully understand your reproductive health and prepare for your journey to pregnancy.

This checkup is suitable for:

Couples who want to understand their reproductive health before or after marriage
Women who are trying to conceive or have tried without success
Those who want to know their ovarian reserve and fertility
Those who want to rule out uterine or tubal problems and assess their hormones and any infections

What's Included

Basic Tests:

Human papillomavirus (HPV) testing: understand your cervical cancer risk
ThinPrep Pap smear: screens for abnormal cervical cells
Gynecologic ultrasound: evaluates the structure of the uterus and ovaries and ovulation
Hysteroscopy: a direct view of the shape of the endometrium and any lesions
Hysterosalpingography: checks whether the fallopian tubes are open
Infection screening: rules out common vaginal or sexually transmitted infections

Blood Tests:

Ovarian reserve (AMH)
Prolactin
Thyroid function (TSH)

Optional Add-On Tests

In addition to the basic fertility checkup, Medee Dazhi Clinic also offers carrier screening, so couples hoping to conceive can find out before pregnancy whether they carry genes for specific inherited diseases, allowing them to plan ahead and reduce the risk of genetic disease in their children.

On average, each person carries 2–3 recessive genetic disease genes; even someone who looks healthy may be a carrier. If both partners happen to carry the same disease gene, their future baby has a 25% chance of being affected. Carrier testing lets you clearly understand the risk while planning a pregnancy, giving you greater peace of mind, and allows for genetic counseling and further IVF planning when needed.

Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA): a serious inherited disease that causes muscle weakness and wasting, and one of the most common fatal inherited diseases in infancy and early childhood. If both partners are carriers, each child has a 25% chance of being affected.
Fragile X Syndrome: caused by a mutation in the FMR1 gene on the X chromosome, it is the most common inherited cause of intellectual disability and is associated with autism. Female carriers appear normal but may pass it on to their children.
GGA Carrier Screening: a curated panel of more than 60 inherited disease genes common in Asian and other populations, analyzed by a specialized laboratory. It tests for the most clinically representative, high-risk recessive genetic diseases, helping couples understand their health risks before pregnancy or IVF, for peace of mind for both mother and baby.

The keys to pregnancy include not only age and luck, but also ovarian function, the uterine environment, and whether the fallopian tubes are open.

Medee's Fertility Assurance Checkup helps you see "every step toward pregnancy" more clearly.

So that preparing for pregnancy is no longer just waiting, but begins with understanding.
